CALL FOR PAPER Regional Conference on Stress, Trauma and Resilience is calling for abstracts covering research and activities across all fields related to counseling, psychology, social work, human development, and all other field related too. Submit your abstract for consideration in a parallel session. Your abstract should describe the purpose of the work in relation to the problem or the method of approach to the research, and should be explicit with respect to the type of data to be included, summarizing the conclusions that will be made in the research. Abstracts are due by March 10, 2014. An International Program Committee, The Regional Conference on Stress, Trauma and Resilience, will review all submissions, and accepted authors will be asked to submit a full paper. Final selection will be made on the basis of the full paper. Paper can be submitted in English or Bahasa Melayu. The Regional Conference on Stress, Trauma And Resilience is the premier forum for multidisciplinary exchange of ideas and information among those who provide crisis and disaster mental health services. Sessions during the conference have been designed to provoke critical thinking challenge current convention offer innovative ideas and insights & Fully explore the many applications of critical incident response in various industries, settings and situations. Conference participants will identify the tools needed to solve current problems and explore the future direction of the crisis intervention field. The 2 day conference and 1 day post-conference will include a variety of presentation formats ideally suited to exploring concepts, practical applications and results in sessions designed for professionals in all practice settings and experience levels. Selected papers may be invited to go forward for development into 10-15 page chapters for publication in a themed ISBN ebook and hard copy volume. Our standard model is for such volumes to be strongly dialogical, with chapters showing awareness of and interacting with each other. The decision whether to proceed to hard copy publication will be taken by the Organizing Chairs and Steering Group within three weeks of the conference close.
