GLENMORE GAZETTE 2017 Volume Two glenmorewisconsin.org Stay Informed About YOUR Town! There are many ways to stay informed about YOUR Town. The best way is to attend the monthly board meetings to get the first hand information, but we know not everyone can make every meeting. Not everyone can make every meeting, but signing up for the notices, will let you know what your elected officials are talking about and working on! All notices are posted on the website, along with other informational documents about what is happening in the town. To sign up go to glenmorewisconsin.org and click on Sign Up in the left hand column. Notices can be sent to via text or e-mail. Keep our Town Clean Please help to keep ALL garbage out of our ditches. When hauling your garbage and recycling, all loads should be tarped, preventing anything from flying. If you see tires, TV s, or other items in the ditches, please pick them up or let us know. Jason Pansier Blood Drive Community Blood Center of Wisconsin July 8 th, 2017 8 AM 2 PM Glenmore Community Center New Zoning Administrator Ben Schauer was appointed as the Town of Glenmore Zoning Administrator at the June Town Board Meeting. We are excited to be working with Ben and all of the future Town needs! You may contact Ben at glenmorezoning@yahoo.com or 864-2330. Safety on our Roads Safety on the Roads is important all year long. There are several things that all residents need to keep in mind to help keep ourselves and those around us safe, no matter the time of year: Wearing bright colored and reflective clothing when biking or walking down the roads in our town to stay safe while staying healthy! Keep all grass clippings off the roads, as this makes the roads slippery for drivers, especially motorcycles.

Controlled Burn If you are planning a controlled burn, you must call the Brown County Sheriff s Office (448-4200) AND YOUR local Volunteer Fire Department Chief in advance. Residents East of Dickinson Road must call the Denmark Volunteer Chief (863-8466) to leave a message. Residents West of Dickinson Road must call the Morrison Volunteer Chief Bill Lasee (864-2501). Calling ahead will alert all emergency responders of your plans and will alleviate confusion at the 911 call center if someone not involved in the burn would report the fire. County Planning Commission at (920) 448-6480 or email at mead_td@co.brown.wi.us. Does Your Fire Sign Look Like This? You Can Help Emergency Responders Get to Your Home Quickly Make Your Property..
