CW Custom Car and Bike Show in the Yakima Convention Center on March 10, 11 and 12 had 6 club members show their rides (photos below). I counted 92 displayed vehicles, but Derek said there were 98 (guess I shouldn t have had the 3 toed dude help count). Every vehicle was awesome and all but the rat rods shined like diamonds. This is a judged show with professional judges using a point system. Some of the classes had a lot of entries while others had none, so Derek moved some cars to fill the classes (old Mercs as low riders?). All entries go home with a participation award and 5 of our 6 went home with hardware. This was my 2 nd year for this show. The first year I received 58 out of 65 possible points, this year I received 65 of 65 points (just bragging a little). I took the score card from the 1 st year and worked on the things I didn t score well on and it paid off. Our club has a lot of beautiful cars and it would be nice to show more at next year s show and take home the club participation award. Doug Betterall had his 2017 GT350 on display, 1 of 111 made. Also a couple pieces of history were in the building. 1910 Indian motorcycle with wicker side car 1899 French Parisienne Victoria only 7 are known to be left of the 400 built between 1899 and 1903. 1 st 4 wheel car made.
