February 12, 2019 Dear Applicant: The Knights of Columbus Council 12422 are excited about your interest in our scholarship. Our scholarships are to encourage enrollment in Catholic High Schools and to help defray the costs of a college education. The scholarships will be awarded to someone who has shown a balance of good character, service and academics. Council 12422 will award three $1,500.00 scholarships in 2019. Two scholarships will go to two 8 th Grade students who are members of St Francis of Assisi Parish, and will be attending Dowling Catholic High School the fall of 2019. The second will be awarded to a St Francis of Assisi Parish member that is a high school senior going to any college or university. Attached to this cover letter is your application.
