SPORTS EXPERIENCE will feature a different sport or organized game each week! Campers will be introduced to the rules, field or court layout, equipment, basic skills through drills and small-sided games and skills challenges culminating in an all camp weekly tournament with lots of participation. The goal of this camp is to give EXPOSURE to many different sports and organized games such as: volleyball, super dodge ball, lacrosse, hockey, dance work outs, virtual sports gaming events (Wii Sports and Kinect), soccer, flag football, basketball and the annual pine derby race that includes building your own mini-racer just to name a few. The program also features weekly outings to the Santa Monica Swim Center for recreational swimming and weekly excursions to theme parks and local attractions. Fit & Fun This program is dedicated to getting children active and healthy. We will focus on knowledge of healthy eating principles and practices as well as fitness. On any given day you will participate in activities such as: self-defense, yoga, cardio circuits, core fitness, and many more. We will also take trips that focus on being active. This class will make getting healthy and active fun! Science Solvers Calling all Scientists! With Science Solvers, your camper will enjoy participating in fun and exciting hands on discovery experiments. Your junior scientist will learn to apply physics while designing and building roller coasters, cars and contraptions. Campers will learn to appreciate our planet through hands-on exploration and they will also prepare for a space adventure! They will build and launch rockets, make real comets and much more. Water Adventures Welcome to Water Adventures, where the name of the game is getting wet! At Water Adventures your child will enjoy a variety of water related activities such as surfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, swimming all under the watchful eyes of our highly trained water safety instructors. No matter what their skill level and experience may be, campers will leave having experienced the immeasurable thrill of water, sun and fun. 4

EXTENDED CARE Extended Care is available at all camps from 7am-8:30am and 5pm-6pm for an additional fee: Weeks 1 & 10 (partial weeks, 3 days): $21 Weeks 2, 3, 5-9 (full weeks): $35 Week 4 (partial week, 4 days): $28 ONLINE REGISTRATION A 60% online quota exists for the first several days of registration, in order to allow registrants to enroll via fax, mail or drop-off if they prefer. All remaining spots then become available through all forms of registration (online, fax, mail or drop-off). For many activities online registration ends two (2) weeks prior to the first class, however registration for remaining spots are available via fax, mail or drop-off at the various registration offices. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE Generous financial assistance is available based on a sliding scale. Low- to moderate-income families are encouraged to apply. TRANSPORTATION Camp fees include transportation for field trips and excursions. For youth not registered in our camp programming, field trip/excursion transporation is available on a first come, first serve basis and is free! Entrance fees and incidentals are paid by the passenger; group discount rate and supervision do not apply to non-registered passengers. Transportation paid for by Prop A funds.
