Regional Stewardship & Community Development Definition of Regional Stewardship and Community Development: The W defines regional stewardship as engaging the community with campus and maximizing partnerships to promote economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and healthy lifestyles. Mission: Coordinate, focus, and publicize stewardship efforts, expanding where gaps are identified and resources are available. Funded by Hearin Foundation 2014-2018. Passport to Wellness Outreach & Innovation Nursing students and Comprehensive campus and community wellness program emphasizing nutrition, physical activity, and stress management. Funded by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of MS Foundation 2013-2015.
