SMALL ANIMAL BARN FUNDRAISER Universal Waste Systems of New Mexico is dedicated to the premise that long-term behavioral change with regard to responsible waste management begins with community's youth. Sandoval County 4-H (as voted for at the Council meeting) has formed a partnership with Universal Waste Systems of NM. The goal is to create awareness of illegal dumping and littering in Sandoval County and to promote responsible solid waste practices. We request a report from each participating club with: 1. the date, time and location of the cleanup, 2. before, during and after pictures, 3. the number of bags collected, 4. and a short letter from each club highlighting what the kids learned, how they felt prior to and after the project in terms of community ownership, a sense of accomplishment, etc. We ask each club to conduct a clean-up project in their community by the end of December. UWS of NM will reward our efforts by donating $5,000 to the Small Animal Barn construction fund. Let s all Help build The Small Animal Barn! Savannah taking the lead in teaching others about Rabbits
