Weekend Only registrants qualify for a maximum of 22 credits. CONVENTION EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES By actively participating in this continuing medical education program attendees will have the opportunity to: Reinforce and expand existing knowledge on a variety of clinical topics. Review and update knowledge of current methods, medications, and treatments in clinical practice. Increase knowledge of new technology and information systems for clinical applications. Incorporate the use of osteopathic principles and manipulation in the treatment of patients. JOIN US! Feeling overwhelmed with the explosion of scientific information and advances in medicine? If you are, that s not surprising given the abundance of written and on-line journal articles. Just five years ago, 1.8-1.9 million articles graced the pages of 28,100 active scholarly peer-reviewed journals. The estimate is 2.5 million articles published this past year. In addition, we are witnessing the burgeoning growth of fully accessible open access journals, many which are not peerreviewed. So how do you know what s reliable, relevant, meaningful and impactful? OPSC has the perfect antidote: attend the upcoming February 2018 OPSC Annual Convention. This year s educational theme is Recent Advances in Osteopathic Medicine. Intended for the clinician, enjoy a program that reviews relevant medical topics, with a special emphasis on advances, progress, discoveries and exciting new possibilities. We ve done some of the work for you, so put down the journal for the weekend and enjoy a night out in San Diego. Topics will include: Cardiology Reproductive Health Immunology Business of Medicine OMM/OMT And many others Richard Riemer, DO 2018 Convention Program Chair OPSC S 57 TH ANNUAL CONVENTION
