In 2018, the organization adapted a weekly rehearsal schedule, and transitioned into conducted performances. Strings Con Brio continues to operate as a completely voluntary ensemble, from its leadership to its musicians. Statement from the Board Chair At Strings Con Brio, we believe that all musicians should be provided a forum through which to share and showcase their love of music. This idea is central to our mission, and one of our strengths is in providing a platform to engage a diverse group of musicians. One challenge Strings Con Brio faces is offsetting the rehearsal and performance related costs of their concert programming. The organization addresses this concern through securing donations for concerts provided, and collaborating with other organizations who support and promote the performing arts.
