T ASo The Russell Report Page 2 State Attorney s Office Law Enforcement Appreciation Day The 15 th Annual State Attorney s Office Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Softball Tournament was another great event recognizing the men and women of law enforcement. It was held April 1 st at the Century Link Sports Complex in Lee County. Softball teams from many law enforcement agencies throughout Southwest Florida participated. The public was invited to this free event. On top of the action on the four fields, there were also carnival games for the kids. We also had face painting, great food available and raffle prizes. It was a very competitive day in softball. The Lee County Sheriff s Office won the Upper Division Championship and the Naples Police Department won the Lower Division Championship.
