Social scientists have years of experience in the study of cultural change. Heartlands applies that expertise to practical problems that involve behavioral change. Whether it s becoming more democratic, preventing conflict, adopting healthier behavior, or creating a dynamic economy, the principles are similar. Heartlands uses rapid assessment methods to analyze a situation, assess resistance to change, and design a holistic approach. Our methodology has proven effective for large and small challenges in an office, in a community, or in a country. 2
