Page 2 Website: www.npcna.org Northeast Pediatric Cardiology Nurses Association Restoring Effective Circulation in the Pediatric Cardiac Patient Program Description This program was designed to present a broad range of issues associated with the management of challenges of restoring effective circulation in pediatric cardiac patients. Through lecture, case studies, and poster presentations, the topics to be addressed include the cardiac arrhythmias, medical and surgical interventions;; ECLS and VADS, nursing innovations, interventions, research and quality improvement initiatives. True to our mission to foster the development of new speakers within our membership, there will be several abstract presentations which focus on contemporary pediatric cardiology nursing issues.
