Impact Goals What are your organization's long-term strategic goals? Brookes Legacy Animal Rescue's goal is to save unwanted pets from euthanasia at the kill shelters and place them in permenant loving homes. This will help the overpopulation of dogs and cats and also we hope to educate the general public about the importance of spaying and neutering your pet and not breeding animals. Strategies What are the major strategies you will do to accomplish your goals? Our goal is to become a larger organization that can save and place double or triple what we do now. We would like to operate a small store front/adoption center open to the general public on a regular basis. We would like to be able to pay salaries eventually to reach this goal. Currently we hold adoption events every weekend at local pet stores and community events and are only volunteer run. Capabilities What are your organization s capabilities for doing this? We are a very active organization but are at the point where without full time people, we can't grow any larger. Most of our volunteers are working full time jobs and are at their limits. We hope to raise enough funds to be able to have salaried employees to grow our organization and help so many more unwanted dogs and cats. Indicators What indicators do you use to measure progress? Fundraising is how we hope to gage our progress. Progress What have and haven t you accomplished so far? See above 4
