MID-YEAR CONFERENCE GENERAL INFORMATION The National Bar Association (NBA) will host its Annual Mid-Year Conference and Gertrude E. Rush Award Dinner on April 19-22, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Tampa Hotel (211 North Tampa Street, Tampa, Florida, 33602). This annual event will encompass timely continuing legal education (CLE) seminars with leading experts, an election protection training initiative, and a bone marrow donation drive. This year s award gala will be held in conjunction with the George Edgecomb Bar Association and will honor those who have continued to exemplify the legacies of Heman Marion Sweatt and Gertrude E. Rush, the sole female founder of the National Bar Association. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Member pre-registration for the Mid-Year Conference and Gertrude E. Rush Award Dinner is $275 on or before April 10, 2012. Registration includes one (1) reception ticket, one (1) Gertrude E. Rush Award Dinner ticket and continuing legal education seminars. The member registration after April 10, 2012 will be $350. A preliminary schedule of events and pre-registration form are enclosed for your convenience. However, we encourage you to pre-register online at www.nationalbar.org. HOTEL INFORMATION A block of hotel rooms has been reserved for attendees of the National Bar Association s Mid-Year Conference and Gertrude E. Rush Award Dinner at the Hyatt Regency in Tampa, Florida. The standard room rate for the conference is $145+tax, single or double occupancy, per night.
