Because she has been celebrating her birthday the past few years by doing a food drive for the local food bank at Mountain View. Last year she was responsible for collecting and donating almost 9,000 pounds of food! That is her goal again this year! She is asking for volunteers to come, greet contributors, and collect the food as it is donated AND for people to shop there and donate the requested items. You certainly could wish her a very happy birthday at the same time as she works to help so many others. See the Serve-A-Thon email from Mrs. Keiter for full details.
