Please prayerfully consider donating a minimum of $30 dollars. If all of our families give the minimum, we will raise over $10,000. This effort is in place of our Victory Run donations, so we pray that you will reach out to any friends and family who would normally donate to Victory Run, and ask them to channel their donations through the Giving Challenge. 2018 Giving Challenge/Victory Run Our 2018 Victory Run fundraiser is once again joining forces with the Community Foundation of Sarasota County's Giving Partner Challenge. This single combined effort will allow donations of between $25 and $100 to be matched dollar for dollar. When: May 1 - May 2 noon to noon How: Donors go to GivingPartnerChallenge.com, Search Venice Christian School Follow the instructions as given Computer stations will be available on campus to assist in your giving. This is our one and only fundraiser for the school and we are asking ALL of our families to contribute during this time. We have been blessed to be able to support the many needs of our school but there are on-going needs outside of the budget. These include a new BUS and additional security. If all of our families gave $30, we would receive approximately $10,000. If all gave $50, we would receive almost $17,000. We received over $30,000 last year from our friends and families. VCS is blessed to have new software to provide a more efficient check in/out process for our students. Now we need help scanning and labeling books into the new system! Will you please help us? Beginning Tues. April 24th, we are looking for volunteers to help scan/label books on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:30am-3pm. If you are available, please contact Mrs. Alkema at malkema@venicechristianschool.org to let her know that you can help. If you are unable to commit to a specific day but happen to have time one Tuesday or LAST DAY TO DONATE usable eyeglasses for the Lion s Club is THURSDAY, APRIL 26TH! Drop your usable glasses in one of the boxes in the school office. So go through the junk drawers and bring in those old glasses so others can have the blessing of seeing clearly! We are also collecting metal soda can tabs. All donations should be in by Thursday April 26th. Thank you! Don t forget to Purchase a yearbook for your student! Our yearbooks are sold online at yearbookforever.com. Go to the website, enter Venice Christian School and the simply follow the ordering instructions. Yearbooks are distributed in mid May.
