Current October 2018 Friends of the Canal Fulton Public Library The Friends of the Canal Fulton Public Library will be having its annual pocket calendars fundraiser. The Canal Fulton Public Library is not part of the Stark County District Library: The Stark County District Library (SCDL) is putting an 8 year, 2.2 Mill levy on the ballot that will replace their current levy. However, if you live in the Northwest School District, then you also live in the Canal Fulton Public Library district, and you will not be voting on the SCDL levy. Cultural Corner The Canal Fulton Public Library Board of Trustees will have a special meeting for architect review in regard to expansion on Monday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Rotary Building. 735 E. Cherry Street, Canal Fulton, OH 44614. Orrville Public Library Book sale is October 5 from 9:30a.m. 5:00 p.m. and October 6 from 10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. The Orrville Public Library is located at 230 N. Main Street, Orrville, OH. CFPL Board meetings are held in the library, usually on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. Since there are occasional changes, it is best to con irm the time and date by calling the library at 330 854 4148. All meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is October 10th at 7:00 p.m. The Canal Fulton Public Library will be closed on Monday, October 8, 2018 for Staff In Service Day, but we are always open online, so you can download e books, do research, or renew your materials. No library materials checked out from the Canal Fulton Public Library are due on any day that the library is closed. Canal Fulton s Trunk or Treat is Saturday October, 13th from 1:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. Trick or Treat will be Wednesday, October 31st from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Canal Fulton. The CFPL Current is published monthly except June/July for the Summer Reading Newsletter, by the Canal Fulton Public Library.
