ELHAM Elham has some casualties commemorated in the Church (St Mary) that are not found on the civic war memorial located at the northern end of the High Street, and vice versa, unfortunately several men appear to have been commemorated by different Christian names, sadly as with other memorials, several men have been omitted from both memorials. Although not a perfect match for this casualty (CWGC, SDGW & MIC) all record the sole christian name of Jack. The church memorial shows his names as Wavell Jack Cole.
