SUMMARY OF INCENTIVES INVESTMENT SUPPORT Manufacturing Programme Support (TSP) Tourism Support Programme Black Business Supplier Development Programme(BBSDP) To be active on 01/04/10 Business Process Outsourcing & Offshoring (BPO&O) Capital Projects Feasibility Programme Critical Infrastructure Programme (CIP) Co-operative Incentive Scheme (CIS) Location Film & TV Production Incentive Is designed to stimulate investment growth within the manufacturing industry To support the development of tourism enterprises that will stimulate job creation and encourage a geographic spread of tourism investment It is a cost sharing grant offered to black owned small enterprises. It provides grants to a max of R1m It comprises of an investment grant ranging between R37 000 & R60 000 per seat and training support grant up to a maximum of R12 000 per agent Is a cost sharing programme providing a contribution to the cost of feasibility studies that are likely to lead to projects outside SA that will increase local exports and stimulate the market for SA capital goods and services Is a non- refundable cash grant that is available to the approved beneficiary upon the completion of the infrastructure project IS A 90:10 matching cash grant for registered co-ops enterprises in the emerging economy to acquire competitive business development services To attract foreign based film productions to shoot on location in SA Local and foreign owned enterprises Local and foreign owned enterprises Black-owned enterprises with a max annual turnover of R1m to R35m New or existing local and foreign investors All capital goods sectors. All legal and registered entities National Research Foundation Support Programme for Industrial Innovation The Research & Development Tax Incentive Programme Contractor Incubator Programme (CIP) Emerging Contractor Development Programme (ECDP) It provides financial assistance for projects that develop innovative products and / or processes. Encourages the private sector to invest in research and development activities. The R&D Tax Incentives are an indirect approach to increasing national R&D expenditure and complements government's expenditure in this regard. To empower these emerging contractors to become sustainable and to have the ability to transact even high level of business To address the disproportionate distribution of black and women owned companies in the register of contractors.
