SANCTUARY CANDLE The Sanctuary Candle, the Eternal Light, will be lit the week of March 17 for Pete Pollman by Pollman Family. Escaping to pray. Jesus did it again. He stepped away from the hubbub of life to pray. He took three friends who were drowsed by sleep on this retreat. But pray he still did. And God spoke from the cloud. How is prayer filling my lenten retreat, my lenten journey? With whom will I go for some quiet and prayer? What am I doing to listen for God s voice? IN MEMORIUM Please remember in your Prayers, Eugene Bud Schmitz, brother of Timothy and Jim Schmitz, all parishioner of St. Patrick s Church. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed by the mercy of God rest in peace. STATIONS OF THE CROSS Stations of the Cross at St. Pat s will be held on Friday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend! LENTEN REGULATIONS 1. FAST Everyone 18 years of age and under 59 is required to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. On these two days of fast and abstinence, only one full meatless meal is permitted. Two other meatless meals, sufficient to maintain strength, may be taken according to each person s needs, but together these two should not equal another full meal.
