SANCTUARY CANDLE The Sanctuary Candle, the Eternal Light, will be lit the week of March 17 for Pete Pollman by Pollman Family. Escaping to pray. Jesus did it again. He stepped away from the hubbub of life to pray. He took three friends who were drowsed by sleep on this retreat. But pray he still did. And God spoke from the cloud. How is prayer filling my lenten retreat, my lenten journey? With whom will I go for some quiet and prayer? What am I doing to listen for God s voice? IN MEMORIUM Please remember in your Prayers, Eugene Bud Schmitz, brother of Timothy and Jim Schmitz, all parishioner of St. Patrick s Church. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed by the mercy of God rest in peace.
