WALK-IN-INTERVIEW It is proposed to fill up one position of Junior Research Assistant under the CST funded ICAR project entitled Evaluation of crop establishment methods & nitrogen management in Maize-Wheat cropping system for quality seed production purely on contract basis amongst the suitable candidates through walk-in-interview scheduled to be held on15.07.2015 at 10.00A.M. to 13.00 P.M. at ICAR-Directorate of Seed Research, Mau (U.P.)-275103. The details of the eligibility, terms and conditions and emoluments etc. are as under:- S.No. Name of the post 01. Junior Research Assistant-1 Essential Qualification 1. Master s Degree in Soil Science /Agronomy or M.Sc. in Agriculture. 2. Minimum 60% in Graduation and Postgraduation. Desirable Qualification 1. Ph.D in Soil Science/Agronomy. 2. Experience in prescribed field. Tenure 03 years however CST may terminate scheme/services of a Research Assistant at any time if it is not satisfied with the progress or performance of the scheme of Research assistant. Emoluments : 1. Rs. 20,000/- p.m. for first two years & Rs. 22,000/- p.m. for third year. 2. Those with Ph.D in any branch of Agriculture will be allowed Rs. 22,000/- per month in the first two years and Rs. 26,000/- per month in the subsequent year. Age Limit : The upper age limit for a Junior Research Assistant shall be 28 years as on 01 st of April of the year in which the application is made. Note: Only Indian citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for Research Assistantship/Associateship or for award of research grants under the CST. Candidates who are applying for the post are required to present Domicile Certificate at the time interview.
Terms and Conditions: 1. No Objection Certificate from the employer, in case the candidate is in employment anywhere, is to be submitted by him/her. 2. Experience certificate, if any, is to be submitted. 3. The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled up on contract basis. The service of the appointed candidate will be terminated automatically after the expiry of the project or on completion of the period of appointment indicated in the offer, whichever is earlier and the candidate will not have any legal right, whatsoever, for further absorption/re-employment in concerned project/icar. 4. The tenure of the Junior Research Assistant will be 03 years however CST may terminate scheme/services of a Research Assistant at any time if it is not satisfied with the progress or performance of the scheme of Research assistant. 5. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview, test etc. 6. The leave and other benefits will be as per existing norms for the JRA if the CST/ICAR. 7. The decision of the competent authority/principal Investigator and the CST will be final and binding in all respects. 8. The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and possessing of same does not entitle a candidate for selection, wherever a large number of applications are received, the board has right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. 9. No interim enquiries will be entertained. Any other clarifications can be had on the date of interview. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post. 10. The candidates must bring with them all the original certificates for verifications. They should submit a brief bio-data (along with the attested photocopies of testimonials/certificates) at the time and in the enclosed format. 11. The other allowances like HRA etc. will not be paid by the Council to research personnel.
