KICK-OFF PACKET Friday, May 15, 2015 Important Walk-A-Thon/Field Day Dates: Wednesday, April 22 nd Begin collecting sponsorships We are excited for the annual Walk-A-Thon/Field Day Event which will be held this year Friday, May 15 th. Enclosed is the Kick-Off packet with all the necessary forms for each student to participate (ie sponsorship forms, prize sheet, student lunch order form, volunteer form). All students are encouraged to obtain sponsorships for this event. They will be sponsored for their participation, not based on lap count. Our goal is to have 100% participation any amount collected will benefit our school directly. Be sure to check out the great prizes students are eligible to win based on sponsorship levels. NEW this year... online giving! You will now be able to make your sponsorships online by visiting: http://ihom.org/supportihm/onlinegivingpage.aspx choosing School Walk-A-Thon from the drop down menu. Friday, May 8 th Final day to turn in lunch order forms to school Thursday, May 14 th Final day to turn in sponsorship money to school be eligible for prizes Friday, May 15 th Walk-A-Thon/Field Day Event!!! Students should wear grade level t-shirts along with comfortable shorts & shoes. Don t forget your sunscreen, beach towel for picnic lunch, hats/visors etc. As always, we will need many parent volunteers to make this day a success.
