Thank you for joining us today! We re glad you ve made time in your already busy schedule to worship the Lord Jesus Christ at First Baptist Church. We hope you gain a greater understanding of God and First Baptist Church this morning. Immediately after today s service, stop by the Pastor s table near the large window in the back corner of the Worship Center and introduce yourself to one of our pastors. SUFFICIENT GRACE Wednesday, October 11 (6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in Room 318) Sufficient Grace is a support group for women who are caring for aging loved ones. We meet the second Wednesday of each month. FOLLOWSHIP COAT DONATION We need your used coats. Please donate coats in good condition for men, women, and children. We will distribute the coats on October 21 to the residents of Oak Hollow and to the ROC. Extra children s items will go to local schools. Collection boxes are available at the Church Office, or you may contact Christi Bradley at rrb143643@comporium.net. Morning Bible STUDY Tuesdays (9:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. The APEX ) Women s Ministry offers weekly Bible studies for women of all ages, both in our church and in our community. DINNER WITH THE PASTOR Sunday, October 29 (5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in Room 225) A great way for GUESTS to meet Pastor Hogg, our other ministers, and their spouses. During this fun and relaxing evening, you will learn more about First Baptist and how to become a member. There is no charge for the event and childcare is provided (children ages 4 & under). The Bible says: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. CHRISTMAS PACKETS FOR PRISONERS Return Packets to the Church by Sunday, October 15. Completed bags may be placed in the Member Services Room (Rm 202) or dropped off at the Church Office during the week. EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT: VOLUNTEERS & DONATIONS Saturday, October 21 (Starts at 7:00 a.m.) The Eagle Scout Project is to repair the front hillside erosion facing Dave Lyle. You may give donations to the Eagle Scout Project through the offering plate or the Church Office. We also need volunteers to come out that morning to help spread top soil, lay grass mats, spread grass seeds, and plant shrubbery. We will feed volunteers breakfast and lunch. The recommendation from the deacons is that First Baptist Church recommend to the York Baptist Association that First Calvary Baptist Church be admitted to membership as a sister church in the York Baptist Association.
