Scholarship Foundation An Entity Designed to Inspire Hope in the Lives of Promising Individual! Greetings to the Churches within the Long Beach community The Long Beach Ministers Alliance Scholarship Foundation was born out of an earnest desire to aide in the success of those promising, yet economically disadvantaged young people in the Long Beach Community. Our goal is to provide the resources necessary for them to achieve their academic and/or vocational dreams. Therefore, we are currently soliciting candidates from your community of faith for our 2010 scholarship campaign. We are able to accept only three (3) candidates from any one church (or religious/community organization) and of that number only those individuals selected by the scholarship committee will be awarded a scholarship. The essay will have a decisive role in determining the finalist, as the committee looks for qualities such as: originality, creativity, neatness, sincerity, and content. Ticket sales by each applicant will be required this year, four (4) tickets are considered mandatory for eligibility. The qualifications are as follow: 1. The person making application cannot have been rewarded a scholarship from the Long Beach Ministers Alliance. 2.
