Margaret Kirollos from East Brunswick, NJ Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2019 Software Engineer at Facebook - Summer 2018 Software Engineer at UPS - Summer 2017- Spring 2018 Dean s List Engineering Scholarship While there have been many memories and events at Rutgers, there is really only one memory that stands out. That memory is the first day I actually came to Rutgers. I had just graduated from high school and I was starting a new chapter, but I did not know what it was going to be. That first day in the middle of the summer was when I truly became a college student. I was on my own completely for the first time at a University I have never been before, rooming with people I never met before. Throughout that day, I got to know Rutgers a little more and I learned what it would be like as a college student. I was exposed to different people besides where I grew up my entire life and I got to make a lot of different friends. That day was the beginning for me and I will always remember that as the start of a great four years.

Brianna Mantz from Monroe Township, NJ Civil Engineering, 2019 President of American Society of Civil Engineers Member of Chi Epsilon, National Society of Civil Member of Society of Women Engineers Research with Professor Richard Riman in the Materials Science and Engineering Department for 2.5 years Edwin Louis Gidley Memorial Scholarship Dennis and Anita Rodkin Alumni-Industry Scholarship My most memorable moment at RU is probably all of the collaboration between students that I am constantly experiencing. The willingness of each student to help one another in the classroom and in pursuing their careers is not found at every college.

Vigneshwar Perumal from Iselin, NJ Biomedical Engineering, 2019 RU Badminton Club RU Enable Secretary Data Analyst at CCICADA, Homeland Security, Rutgers Technology Intern at EDG, Home Automation Web Designer Intern at Safari Inc. Vincent Chee Ascendency Award for Scientific and Technical Writing Rutgers University School of Engineering Dean's List The Rutgers family has provided me with insights and values of realizing and working toward our motto which requests for the enlightenment of learning to shine equally upon the New World. I am thankful and honored to be a Scarlet Knight.

Brenda Reyes from Freehold, NJ Industrial and Systems Engineering, 2019 Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers Catholic Student Association Alpha Pi Mu- Industrial & Systems Engineering Honor Society Operations Engineer at Silver Line by Andersen Rutgers ISE Michna Award Dean's List My most memorable moment so far at Rutgers is kayaking on the Raritan River. During my sophomore year, I would always see the Raritan River from my dorm on College Avenue. The view would always entice me to one day kayak on the river. Luckily, I had the opportunity through the program, Rutgers GO Outdoors, to make my goal happen. It was an amazing experience to see George Street from a different perspective as I paddled upstream and explored the Class of 1914 Boathouse.

Alexandra Spitzer from Roxbury, NJ Materials Science and Engineering, 2019 Resident Assistant School of Engineering Ambassador Society of Plastics Engineers Material Advantage Research Assistant in the Advanced Polymer Processing Lab Aresty Summer Science Research Assistant John R. Vander Veer Scholarship Laurance M. & Dorothy L. Leeds Scholarship RHA Scarlet Pride Pin One of my favorite memories was hanging out with my friends all day when we were actually given a Snow Day at Rutgers in 2017! Besides that, getting to experience Rutgers Pride at football games and all the other events is so much fun!

Morgan L. Taylor from Lumberton, NJ Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, 2019 American Society of Mechanical Engineers Society of Women Engineers College Technical Senior Intern at Lockheed Martin Aresty Research Assistant for Smart Textiles For Camouflage Mechanical Engineering intern at L-3 Communications Rutgers School of Engineering Honors Academy Dean s List My favorite memory at Rutgers was presenting at the Aresty Undergraduate Research Symposium. After working for a year conducting research and overcoming obstacles; it was rewarding to present my project to my friends, family, and professors in a professional atmosphere.
