Reintegration activities implemented by three Implementing Partners (IPs) namely CARITAS, INPP and FAO, started in October 2016. The IPs are continuing their outreach and support services for their designated demobilized caseloads allocated based on their vocational specialty. Distribution of reintegration kits is also progressing. 4. Support to Demobilized Ex-Combatants Households: In the months of November and December 2017, UEPNDDR contracted 8 out of 10 NGOs in earmarked Reintegration zones to provide vocational training to demobilized dependents. Activities in this component include the identification, orientation vocational training selection, training and distribution of kits. To date 2750 dependents have been identified and received vocational training and technical support, while 1170 have received their start-up kits to begin or reinforce their income generating activities in different sectors (restaurant, bakery, soap making, flour milling, fish selling, butchery). 5. Psychosocial Support: Living Peace Institute LPI delivered training to 50 outreach officers of UEPNDDR and its partners, whose main objective was to promote awareness of the psychosocial and mental health needs of the Project beneficiaries in order to support the meaningful implementation of psychosocial support by the project staff working most closely with beneficiaries. 6. Mid-term review (MTR): an MTR of the Project was undertaken in April-May 2018, to take stock of the Project s achievements and challenges, and to plan the way forward. 7.
