Center of Hope urgently needs to replace the Tilt Skillet in the shelter s kitchen. The Tilt Skillet is used for cooking large amounts of food from pancakes to eggs, to spaghetti & meatballs, to fried chicken, to chili, and more. It is an indispensable piece of equipment. The Center s current Tilt Skillet has failed several times lately as our breakfast and dinner teams can attest. Due to its age, spare parts are becoming scarce, so replacing it very soon is imperative. The total cost of a new Tilt Skillet is $15,326.08; we have $9,133.95 and need an additional $6,192.13 to pay for it. Please help raise the funds to buy this appliance for our friends at Center of Hope! You will find a special offering envelope in next week s bulletin. You may also donate at MY SMPC online. Thank you! Learn more about South Mecklenburg Presbyterian s ministry with the Center of Hope and how you can get involved on the next page. Cooking Hundreds of Pancakes! Cooking 28 Dozen Eggs!

Please join us to prepare and serve a meal at the shelter! We meet at the church and load up groceries to head to the shelter. There is always an experienced leader to show all the volunteers exactly what to do. It truly is a great way to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ!
