Hi, The energy I experienced on the stage of NRECA s Annual Meeting in New Orleans one year ago is still with me today. Since then, I ve had the privilege to personally meet many of you, listen to your concerns and talk about our mutual work on behalf of electric cooperative members. This year s Annual Meeting in Nashville is another important one, and we need you to be a part of it. Join us as we: Listen to everyone s views, debate our collective resolutions and vote on important policy issues during the business meeting; Rev up the Cooperative Action Network on behalf of members throughout the country; Learn from industry experts about the challenges facing cooperatives; Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour; and Provide the forum for networking with your fellow co-op leaders across the USA. There will be serious work conducted. And we will set aside some time for fun on Entertainment Night with country music star Martina McBride. If you missed the Regional Meeting, or if you just wonder what happens next for member resolutions, here s another chance to make your co-op s voice heard. The National Resolutions Committee hosts a forum to answer questions about the proposed resolutions that voting delegates will consider at the Annual NRECA Business Meeting. Throughout the 2013 Regional Meetings, co-ops have been debating resolutions on topics like disaster assistance and the social cost of carbon. The Proposed Resolutions Forum is a chance to learn how co-ops opinions and amendments from all 10 Regions have been consolidated into a set of proposed resolutions. Upon approval, these represent the will of the NRECA membership. Voting delegates will cast final votes on the resolutions at the business meeting on Tuesday, March 4.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER Wednesday, March 5 JANE PAULEY Today Show Contributor, Your Life Calling Your Life Calling Jane Pauley, a respected broadcast journalist for more than 30 years, shares how all of us can see ourselves in a powerful new way and make a difference in the world. In her new Today show segment Your Life Calling and new book by the same name, Pauley shines a spotlight on people who, both by choice and necessity, are reinventing themselves and trying new things, changing how they live, and, after years of waiting, finally pursuing their dreams. NRECA Educational Forums Current issues serve as the focus for informative sessions led by top-notch experts. These forums offer attendees the opportunity to get a deeper understanding of complex industry challenges. Session topics center on co-op governance, emerging technology, and member engagement. ENTERTAINMENT NIGHT Martina McBride in Concert Tuesday, March 4, 7:30 p.m. Martina McBride, a superstar of country music, will treat the Annual Meeting audience to this special appearance. McBride has been awarded Female Vocalist of the Year four times by the Country Music Association as well as Favorite Country Female Artist by the American Music Awards. Count on favorite activities like the parade of states and a general session address by the 2013-2014 Youth Leadership Council National Spokesperson. COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT Helping the Nashville Community Saturday, March 1, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. For the sixth year in a row, Touchstone Energy Cooperatives and NRECA sponsor a community service day in conjunction with the Annual Meeting. We ask co-op volunteers to help us partner with local groups and give a helping hand. We ll take care of lunch, transportation and all the logistics.
