In the past year we have fully transitioned to this new logo. It can be seen everywhere from our website to print advertising and even our social media accounts. (and this newsletter) This year we also plan to begin selling merchandise at the Visitor Center that proudly displays it as well. It's still in the early stages, but we're looking at a couple styles of shirts and a sticker to begin with. We'll see how those sell and then look at adding other products from there. We're excited about this new opportunity for the Chamber and look forward to visitors and locals alike sporting our new logo. "The Strider Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed in 2017. The Strider Education Foundation believes that learning to ride can help everyone lead a happier and healthier life. Through the development of a proven Learn-To-Ride curriculum and donations of the world's most advanced training bikes, the nonprofit organization makes riding available, safe, easy, and fun for everyone. All Kids Bike is a national movement administered by the Strider Education Foundation. Our goal is simple: we want all kids to know how to ride a bike by the time they begin the first grade. To do this, we raise funds to provide Learn-To-Ride bikes, helmets, and integrative curriculum at no cost to the school. Custer Chamber member Phil Lampert Broker/owner of Lampert Properties in Custer and broker associate Andrea Ronning are personally sponsoring the costs associated with providing Strider bikes for all of Custer kindergarten kids. When asked why they stepped up to get involved with Strider, Lampert said "we are longtime fans of Ryan McFarland and we are extremely proud of him and his Strider accomplishments." "We are big believers in the outdoors," said Ronning. "As Realtors we sell the outdoors. Phil and I want to entice kids away from screen time to breathe the fresh air." "We believe in Ryan's mission," added Lampert. "We are honored to be involved." Funded programs in South Dakota currently include: Bison, Newell, Spearfish, Lead- Deadwood, Douglas, Hill City, Rapid City, Elk Mountain, Custer, Hot Springs, Edgemont, Hoven, and one school in Sioux Falls. Our website can be found here: https://www.allkidsbike.org/ "
