President Bud has shared with us his goals for his year: 1. To encourage the members to recognize the importance of good informative programs and attendance at regular weekly meetings. 2. To have the program chairman report to Jonah their program information 3 weeks before the date of their program so it can be printed in our weekly newsletter. 3. To encourage our members to research an international project for our club to develop and complete. 4. To encourage our members to better understand the need to support Rotary International in ridding the wold of Polio. 5. To have three or four members reach their next level of their Paul Harris recognition. 6. To have at least two members attend training sessions for the grant program. 7. To attend our 5th Tuesday evening gathering at the Bread and Bottle and use this opportunity to introduce a guest to our members and club. 8. I hope to end my term as President with a membership of 5 new members who understand the meaning of being a Rotarian. 9. To oversee and develop our youth programs as they continue to grow and develop new ways to show Service above Self. 10. To remove the road signs from storage in my garage and install then on the roads to welcome visiting Rotary members to attend our meeting for a makeup and fellowship. Rev. Fred Cartier is collecting books and magazines for Northern Dutchess Hospital's reading cart. Please bring your magazines and books to Fred at any breakfast meeting. Labels have been made to affix to the magazines indicating they have been donated by the Red Hook Rotary Club. Your change can make a change! - Bring your filled Rotary coin boxes to any meeting and donate to Rotary International Foundation's Polio Plus campaign.
