Fencing Illini, 23580, (Austin) Motion to fix clerical error, ii. 24815 1. Illini Saxophone Club 2. The Treasurer was misinformed by employees of SORF about requirements needed for approval of funding 3. The treasurer of Illini Saxophone Club checked with the RSO offices multiple times when filling out the SORF application. Several calls were made to the office and one in-person visit to assist with completing the application. Every time, the treasurer would ask the employees to double checked with them that all requirements for the SORF application were completed and every time the employees would inform the treasurer that they were. On the in-person visit to the RSO office, the treasurer asked a final time before submitting the application if all paperwork, quizzes, the online roster, etc. was completed to successfully submit the application and they were informed that everything was completed. The SORF application was denied on the grounds that the SORF quiz on Compass2g.illinois.edu was not completed. The treasurer believed this quiz to be completed when she attended the Alternative Treasure's Workshop hosted by the RSO offices on January 26th, 2017. They explained all quizzes required to be completed by the treasurer would be waived due to attendance and participation at the workshop. The treasurer also believed it to be completed because the employees at the RSO offices told them on
multiple occasions that all quizzes and like paperwork to be approved for SORF funding were completed. a. Illini Saxophone Club, 24815, (Josh) Motion to zero fund, Vote 6-2-3, Passed iii. 22677 1.
