COURSE OVERVIEW Children s Hospital of Philadelphia s Emergency Department presents the Seventh Annual Best Practices in Pediatric Emergency Nursing Conference. The format includes lecture, simulation, skills stations and interactive quick sessions. Content is applicable to all levels of nursing expertise, prehospital care providers and students interested in expanding their knowledge in caring for the pediatric patient with an emergent condition. Leading faculty utilize evidence-based guidelines and expert pediatric opinion to engage participants on hot topics within pediatric emergency nursing. GENERAL INFORMATION The conference will be held in the Stokes Auditorium at Children s Hospital of Philadelphia, located on the first floor of the Main Building. The registration fee includes continental breakfast, breaks, lunch, parking and syllabus material. Integrate pediatric considerations into clinical practice NURSING ACCREDITATION Children s Hospital of Philadelphia is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center s Commission on Accreditation. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY Children s Hospital of Philadelphia reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to any unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation or postponement, Children s Hospital of Philadelphia will refund any registration fees, less a $25 service charge, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses to participants, including cancellation charges assessed by airlines/travel agencies. In order to process refunds for course withdrawals, cancellation must be received in writing by Monday, April 29, 2019. No refunds will be issued thereafter.
