March 15th The annual St. Patrick s Day Select Drive golf tournament will be held on Saturday March 15th starting at 12:00. The tournament will be open to both men and women (no big bucks)! Board Meeting February 25, 2014 Present: Charlie Cothran, David Diestel, Jim Havel, Brian Sodolak, Brad Burttschell, Judy McFarland, Dusty Yantis, Kathy Baker and Carroll Roden. Motion by Havel 2 nd by Sodolak to accept previous months meetings as read. Motion passed. Grounds: D. Browne reported: Employee hours were trimmed, Applied Pre Emerge Feb 13 th, Aerified Feb 24 th, sprayed for winter weeds, leak on #2 bridge will be repaired. Leak on water fountain on hole #15 will be repaired. New sign at entrance will be installed when weather allows. Rails next to steps on #1 tee box will be installed soon. Yantis commended D. Browne on cutting expenses. House: Browne reported: Browne and Ayala are working with Sysco Rep to cut food cost and create a new menu. Sodolak commented on the high quality of the Valentines Dinner. He asked Browne to promote events better. Browne sent emails but said he doesn t have all members email addresses. Motion by Burttschell 2 nd by Yantis for Browne to get 3 bids for pest control business. Motion passed. Membership: Motion by Roden 2 nd by McFarland to accept Matt Webb as a Regular Member and David Ondruch as a Social Member and to accept the resignation of Mike Salvaggio as a Regular Member. Motion Passed. After a Lengthy discussion the Board decided to give Browne 1 month to resolve the past due balances of several members who are blatantly delinquent. If these Members cannot present a payment plan they will be suspended. Going forward all members more than 60 days delinquent will get a letter reminding them to pay. They commented on Browne s reduction of expenses and increased revenues in January which helped the club turn a profit for the month. Motion by McFarland and 2nd by Diestel to adjourn the meeting.
