When dropping off money for Mass Intentions, please include the name of who the mass is for and whom it is from. The WORD Among Us, provided by the Women of St. Mary s, is an excellent booklet for reflection; a few copies of the Lent edition are still available in the church. Online resources include www.dynamiccatholic.com, Best Lent Ever and ncronline.org. Sign up at either or both for free inspiring emails each day during Lent. There are hands-on materials for families and their children in the church and in the parish hall. Step inside when dropping off children for faith formation and see what might suit your family. We want to help feed the hungry right here in Mechanicsville and Cedar County! The following is a list of religious education classes that will be responsible each week for helping provide items for the Mechanicsville Community Cupboard. All parish members are welcome to donate. Just leave your item on the table in the back. Students will bring the items forward during the offertory and place them in the baskets by the alter. The children, with the help of Marilyn, Jen, and Kylee, have been working very hard to prepare music for Mass. Please join us in supporting the youth of our parish. St. Marys Guild of Mechanicsville would like to thank everyone for your support of items to make Christmas a little merrier at the Veterans home in Marshalltown. We received a thank you letter from the administration expressing their and the residents appreciation and would like to pass it on. The home provides housing for about 200 men and 100 women residents.
