Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya- Chitrakoot A glorious moment of Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya : With the blessings and the inspiration of Param Pujya Gurudev Shri Ranchoddas ji Maharaj, under the aegis of the trust, Sadguru Netra Chikitsalya has achieved a remarkable record of 1,00,691 surgeries in the financial year 2011-12. PMOA workshop: April-June 29 th, 30 th and 31 st batch of Paramedical Ophthalmic Assistants (PMOAs) underwent 6 days refresher training program during April June months. Total 88 participants from Punjab, Bihar & Chhatisgarh participated in training programs. The main purpose of the training program is to orient the Government Para medical ophthalmic assistants on skills pertaining to primary eye care delivery and expose them to recent advances in ophthalmology at primary, secondary and tertiary care level. V2020 workshop central zone members meet: 25th April, 2012 The V2020 central zone member workshop was jointly by V2020 India and Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust. The purpose of the workshop was to bring all the central India partners together and create a platform for partnership to strengthen eye care in central India.

Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya- Chitrakoot Quality assessment visit by V2020 India team V2020 India team comprising of Dr. GV Rao, Dr. Col. Desphande and Dr. Usha Gopinathan visited SNC to upgrade quality systems at SNC. This initiative by V2020 India is to ensure continous quality improvement amongst its partners. The team did a detailed assessment and shared the report. The team will review the same after 3 months for implementation and improvement. Retina update Under the aegis of SNC, a workshop on recent advances in Vitreo Retina was conducted at SNC Chitrakoot on 5th and 6th of May 2012. Eminent retina experts from across the country participated in the workshop. Prof. Amod Gupta Dean PGI Chindigarh, DrLaitVerma Honorary Secretary AIOS, Prof Mangat Ram Dogra PGI Chandigarh, DrKarobiLahiri Chief Retina Specialist Bombay Hospital, Dr Arvind kumar Dubey Senior VR specialist from Gwalior, Dr Gunjan Prakash VR Specialist from Agra along with consultants from Dept of Vitreo retina Sadguru netra chikitsalaya chitrakoot shared their experience on common vitreo retinal disorders like Diabetic retinopathy, Retinal vein occlusions, ROP, Uveitis, Complex VR surgeries etc. The workshop was attended by more than 120 ophthalmologists from UP, MP and Chattisgarh. Prof. AmodGupta, appreciated the commendable work done by SNC Chitrakoot and gave valuable suggestions for further improvement. SNC Induction program: 25 th May, 2012 Dr. B.K.Jain trustee and director of the trust has initiated induction program of SNC staff, out of which he spoke on Philosphy, History and Activities of the trust. Dr. Tripti Sharma: A laurel to SNC Dr Tripti Sharma brought laurels to SNC Chitrakoot by becoming the first candidate from the institute to clear DNB (ophthalmology). She did this in her very first attempt. She completed her thesis on Comparison of Tellers visual acuity charts and Lia symbols for measuring visual acuity in preverbal children under the able guidance of Dr Kuldeep Srivastava.

Jankikund Chikitsalaya- Chitrakoot Free Malnutrition eradication Camp: 07th April, 2012 The trust has organized a free malnutrition eradication camp at village Chauraha, Block Majhgawan, Dist. Satna (M.P.). The camp was sponsored by Parmarth Seva Samiti, Mumbai the OPD was held by Dr. V.K. Gandhi, Dr. Sunil Karkhur, Dr. Praveen Shrivastava, Satna, Dr. Tripathi, Majhgawan with JKC team. Total 101 malnourished children were identified and treated in the camp. Free Chest Disease Camp: 08th April, 2012 Jankikund Chikitsalaya has organized free chest disease relieving camp on 08 April, 2012. The camp was sponsored by Parmarth Seva Samiti, Mumbai and co-sponsored by Dr. V.K. Gandhi, Satna & Dr. Hemant Pandey Satna. Total 192 patients took benefit of the camp Inauguration of CT SCAN: 24th April, 2012 With the blessings of param pujya gurudev a CT-SCAN machine has been inaugurated at Jankikund Chikitsalaya by the Chief Guest, Col. Deshpandey, President VISION 2020 and special guest, Dr. G.V. Rao, CEO, VISION 2020. Dr. B.K.jain trustee and director of the trust on the occasion has made announcement of giving free scanning facilities to poor patients where as this scanning costs a lot in the market for them. The machine was donated by M P Mansinghka charities, Mumbai in the memory of Late. Seth Murlidhar Mansighka

Shree Raghuveer mandir trust- Chitrakoot 4 th April, 2012: Hanuman Jayanti Mahotsav Under the aegis of the trust Shree Raghuveer mandir trust and Parmarth Seva Samiti, Mumbai celebrated Hanuman Jayanti Mahotsav on 4 April. Gurubhais from Mumbai jointly celebrated the program with all joy and happiness. On the occasion, the renowned saints of Chitrakoot delivered Katha. Punyatithi of Gurudev: 4 th April, 2012 Punyatithi of Param Pujya Gurudev Shri Ranchhoddas ji Maharaj was celebrated by the trust on 04th April at Rahuveer mandir campus. On the occasion Gurubhais from Mumbai were present. The program ended with Huge Bhandara.

Sadguru Shiksha Samiti- Chitrakoot World Health Day Sadguru School of Nursing celebrated World Health Day on 7th April 2012. This year theme was { HYPERLINK "http://www.who.int/entity/world-healthday/2012/en/index.html" } on this occasion Sadguru Trust organized free Malnutrition prevention camp for under 5 year s children in Choubeypur village. Nursing students present health talk about care of babies and immunization with chart & poster. Nursing students and faculty actively participated on this day. International nurses day Sadguru School of Nursing celebrated the International Nurses Day on 12th May 2012. This year theme was Closing the Gap: From Evidence to Action Students presented the variety of cultural programs and presentation on life of Florence Nightingale: The Pioneer of Nursing Profession. Certificate and memento distributed by dignitaries, Madam S.D. Oswal, special guest and Dr. B.K. Jain, Trustee & Director of the trust was the chief guest. World No-Tobacco Day Sadguru School of Nursing organized World No-Tobacco Day on 31st May 2012. The theme was Stop tobacco industry interference. Tobacco kills almost 6 million people every year and is one of the leading preventable causes of illness and death around the world. On this occasion nursing students present role play, slogan, health talk with chart & poster in Jankikund Chikitsalaya. Pride of Sadguru Shiksha Samiti Sadguru Public Higher Secondary has showed the remarkable performance by scoring 100% result in 10th and 12th Board examination whereas Priyanka Maurya of Vidyadham Higher Secondary School has made Samiti proud by achieving 9 th Merit position in Madhya Pradesh state in 12 th Board examinations.

Trust activities- Chitrakoot New financial Year 2012-13 Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust celebrated Apr 01 st, 2012 as New Financial Year. Director Dr.B.K Jain and the key staff members of the Trust were present on the occasion. Dr.B.K Jain shared the previous year s achievements and set goals for new financial year. New ledgers books were distributed to all the department heads. Performance Report Sadguru Shiksha Samiti Sadguru Premium League 2012 SPL-IV came to an end with final match played between students of Sadguru Public Higher Secondary eleven and Hunters eleven ( Opthalmologists Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya) on 26 th May, 2012 in which the SPS eleven won the league in a thrilling final outsmarting Hunters eleven by 21 runs. 14 teams had participated in this league. The tournament was held between April 29 - May 26, 2012. Sadguru XII Sachin Singh Sankalp Netra 80 Chikitsalaya- Uplabdhi Anandpur Sahu 88 With the blessing and the inspiration of Param Pujya Gurudev Shri Ranchoddasji Maharaj SSNC has performed 30,615 number of surgeries in the financial year of 2011-12 Inauguration of new vision centre at GUNA A new Vision center inauguration was done on 6th May with successful community participation in Guna.On the day of opening more than 80 patient were examined by Dr. Ashok Solanki. He also explained the need and the benefit of vision centre and facilities available. Hospital based program on Glaucoma In association with vision 2020, HBP on glaucoma was conducted from 3rd to 6th June which was volunteered by Dr. Subodh Sinha from Venu eye institute, Delhi. He demonstrated the surgeries on patient and gave the lecture on surgical and medical management of glaucoma.
