MONTHLY REPORT JULY 2016 4 July 2016: Self Composed Poem Writing Competition Result Result of Self Composed Poem Writing Competition (Hindi) for Class IX to XII declared on 4 July 2016. It was conducted on 21 May 2016 in the school premises. 50 students of Class IX to XII participated in it. Students participated with great enthusiasm & poeticism. Teacher incharges was Smt. Shakuntla Singhal & Dr. Usha Sharma. The jury members were Smt. Usha Singhal & Smt. Sumanlata. Convener of the programme was Dr. Usha Sharma, Smt. Neelu Agarwal, Smt. Savit Tyagi & Smt. Neeru Vyas. Alka Gupta motivated the students for their future. 5 July 2016: Bag Competition The Bag Competition organized in the school campus for classes I to VIII in two categories Classes I to V & Classes VI to VIII under the guidance of all class teachers on 5 July 2016. Class teachers also played a role of Judges of their classes. All Students arranged their bags nicely and got the first, second & third positions and incharges were Mrs. Sandhya Paliwal & Mrs. Kalpana Garg for Classes VI to VII & Mrs. Priyanka Singhal for Class I to V.

6 July 2016: All India Prize Ceremony There was a prize ceremony at All India level at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi on 6 July 2016, where various players of different games awarded. There were various ministers & dignitaries who awarded to the players some of them were Central Minister Sh. Vijay Goel, Sansad & Central Minister Sh. Ajay Tamta, BJP Vice President Sh. Shyam Jaju & President of India Sports Sangh Sh. Sunil Gupta. More than 10000 players present there in which 200 players awarded at main stage by Hon ble Dignitaries & Ministers. Our eight students participated there under the guidance of Coach Sh. Rajesh Kumar & three of them awarded at main stage by Guests as under: 1- Alena IX A 2- Shafali Sharma X A 3- Prachi Chaudhary XI C All players got mementos. Principal Smt. Alka Gupta appreciated efforts of the students and motivated them this is the result of their best performances. 11 July 2016: Commerce Faculty Development Programme There was One Day Teachers Development Programme conducted at Institute of Chartered Accountant of India at Sec-62, Noida. This programme was very fruitful for Commerce Teachers. Various teachers of Delhi NCR attended this programme. Mrs. Omna Tomar attended it on behalf of our school. The objective for the programme was to give knowledge regarding changes in the syllabus of class XI in basic accounting standard and change in Company act 2013. Mr. Mukesh Singh Kushwah (C.A.) and other resource persons gave more information regarding various changes in the pattern of basic accounting standard and in international accounting standard. They gave knowledge regarding various changes in Company Act 2013. At the end of this programne teachers were awarded with certificates. It was a great experience for one and all to getting knowledge. 13 July 2016: World Astronomy Day 2016 (Primary Wing) The world Astronomy day organized in the school for class 3 to 5 under the guidance of all class teachers on 13 July 2016. Brahmadevi Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir, Hapur. Students of VI to X participated in this Quiz in two categories - Middle (VI to VIII) & Secondary (IX to X). The objective of this series was to promote creativity and innovative spirit among school children in the area of Science, Mathematics & Technology. The first level was school level. Middle (VI to VIII) : Total Participants were 100 in 10 teams. As per guidelines two best students selected whose names were: Anamika Pal D/o Sh. Prahlad Singh Tanvi Singh D/o Sh. Students participated with great enthusiasm. 15 July 2016: Lets Celebrate Nature Senior Secondary Level Students of class XI participated in the Lets Celebrated Nature Activity under CBSE Circular No. Acad-18 dt:23 May 2016 under the supervision of Ms. Priyanka Garg. 5 students participated in this activity. They made power-point presentations to show their views about Nature. Names of students with their scores were as under:

Ms. Purnima Goel explained students about environment. She told various days celebrations like World Environment Day (5 June), World Ocean Day (8 June) & World Day to Compact Desertification and Drought. She told students about Global Celebration of these days to improve the conserving and protecting all natural resources and environment. These Students also watered to plants and, name their plants and also took oath for planting a new plant on their birthday. She also explained about Plant Products. They also encouraged student to keep a bowl for birds for their food and water on their home s terrace. 22 July 2016: Tree Plantation Students of class VIII A started the tree plantation in the school campus in pots. No. of students were 54 under the supervision of Sh. Brijesh Kumar. Principal Smt. Alka Gupta motivated the students for tree plantation and told the importance of Trees. She also told that every student plant a tree. She told that the programme will follow by all classes in next 15 days. 23 July 2016 : Teachers Empowerment Programme There was a teachers empowerment programme conducted in the school on 23 July 2016 by school teachers. The focus of the programme was discussion on improvement in Quality of Education. In which four teachers gave their views whose names were Km. Priyanka Garg, Km. Karishma Sharma, Smt. Rekha Sharma & Sh. Pradeep Kumar. Km. Priyanka Garg told about Apple Company i.e. starting of company, why logo is like Apple, New Versions launched & Model launched etc. Km. Karishma Sharma told about personality development i.e. manner of our body language, talking manner, pronunciation etc. Smt. Rekha Sharma told about Vidya Bharti Panchmukhi Education Policy & Main Sopan of Personality Development Panchkoshatmak Pranali. Sh. Pradeep Kumar told about not making interruption during teaching time by sending students to other class and getting loss of their studies. Mrs. Alka Gupta, Principal & Sh. Kuldeep Kasana, Joint Director were present there.

26 July 2016: World No Tobbaco Day As prescribed by CBSE, World No Tobacco Day (31 May 2016) celebrated in the school campus on 26 July 2016. 25 students participated in this programme under the guidance of Smt. Santosh Rana. They made posters on theme A leading risk factor for non-communicable disease. Name of students were Muskan Sharma, Priya Sharma, Shivangi Goel, Neelam Kashyap, Muskan Tyagi, Ananta, Nidhi, Mahima, Chanchal, Prachi, Komal, Yashi, Tanishka, Prerna, Naina, Sneha, Kesar, Kanak, Shivi, Karuna, Yashasvi, Sejal, Priya, Sugandh & Khushi. The Tobacco Free School Committee also constituted in the session 2015-16, members were Vani Sirohi, Diksha & Nisha (XI E), Ishika (XI A), Nandini (XI B), Shivangi Goel, Muskan Sharma, Neelam Kashyap & Priya Sharma (X C). Online status report sent to CBSE. 27 July 2016: All India National Language Hindi Competition Examination All India National Language Hindi Competition Examination was conducted on 27 July 2016 in the school campus by Mahatma Gandhi Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Prachar Sanstha, Pune. It was organized for Classes I to X on writing & grammar. Total 55 students participated under the guidance of their Hindi Teachers and incharge of competition Smt. Games were Kabaddi, Yoga & Shooting. This competition was Intra School Competition and played Category wise. The audience were students upto class V. Kabaddi - There were three matches played in pre-stage as under and the result is also mentioned. 33students participated in this game. Matches referees were Sh. Dharamvir Singh, Smt. Jayashree Dass & Sh. Mohit. Result was as under: Team U-19 V/s Team U-17 Team U-17 Won Team U-17 V/s Team U-14 Team U-17 Won Team U-19 V/s Team U-14 Team U-14 Won Final match played between Team U-17 & Team U-14 and U-17 won this series.
