The two teams will square off at 6:45 p.m. CT inside Lloyd Noble Center. The Sooners are looking to go undefeated in the regular season for the sixth time under head coach K.J. Kindler. SENIOR SALUTE OU will honor its four seniors, Brenna Dowell, Ashley Hiller, Nicole Lehrmann and Alex Marks following Friday s meet. The four have been a part of two National Championships, four Big 12 Championships, four regional championships, and two other top three NCAA Championship finishes. The quartet has earned 146 career wins and are undefeated at 35-0 at Lloyd Noble Center. They have combined for 10 All-America honors, six scholastic All-America honors and 10 Big 12 Academic honors. Dowell and Lehrmann each have an individual national championship. The duo have also combined for four Big 12 individual championships. TOP TOTALS Of the nation s top totals this season, the Sooners hold two of the top three scores, three in the top five and five in the top 10. OU is the only team to hit the 198 mark in four meets, holding the top spot with a 198.325 (Feb. 1), the No. 3 spot with a 198.200 (March 9), the No. 5 spot with a 198.075 (Feb. 15) and the No. 6 spot 198.050 (Jan. 5). OU also holds the 10th spot with a 197.975. UCLA has three scores in the top 10, while Florida, Utah and LSU each have one. KINDLER VS. THE SEC In 13 seasons, OU head coach K.J. Kindler has posted a 40-8 record in the regular season against SEC foes. In 2018, the Sooners went 3-1 in the regular season against the SEC, defeating Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia. This season, the Sooners are 5-0 against the SEC with two wins over Arkansas and victories over Georgia, Missouri and Florida. TOP NCAA SCORES IN 2019 Rank Team Score T-1. Utah 197.975 NQS BREAKDOWN With a road victory over No. 7 Michigan on March 9, Oklahoma extended its lead at the top of the rankings with a national qualifying score (NQS) of 198.025. OU s weekend score of 198.200 bumped its NQS to over a 198 this season as the Sooners earned a No. 1 ranking for the 62 nd time since the start of the 2015 season. The Sooners are the only program to ever record back-to-back-to-back seasons with an RQS of 198 or better. With just two regular season meets and Big 12 Championships remaining, the Sooners will once again carry an NQS of 198 into the postseason. Additionally, Oklahoma ranks in the top three on all four events, including the top spot on vault (49.540), bars (49.555) and beam (49.505). The Sooners remained at No. 3 on floor with a 49.550. NQS is based on a team s six best regular season scores, three of which must be from road contests. The overall high score is eliminated, and the five remaining scores are averaged. NQS scores are used to determine seeding for NCAA regional competition at six campus sites on April 4-6.

With 262 routines under their belts, that means that 47.3 percent of the routines competed have scored at least a 9.9. The Sooners have put up double-digit scores of 9.9 or better in of eight of 10 meets, tallying 17 against Florida, 14 at the Perfect 10 Challenge, 13 at the Metroplex Challenge and at Michigan, 12 against Arkansas and UCLA and 10 each against Georgia and UNC. CLUB 197 The Sooners have posted a score of at least 197 or higher in 55 of their last 56 meets. Currently, the Sooners streak is at 20 meets with a score of at least 197, and 11 of those meets have featured a score of at least a 198. The Sooners are one of just four teams that have scored a 197 or better in every meet (Utah, UCLA, Florida). TO 198 AND BEYOND With a 198.050 in its opening meet, the Sooners became the only team in NCAA history to break 198 in the first meet of the year. OU added a second score of 198 or better with a 198.325 on Feb. 1, the highest score in the nation thus far. OU also tallied a 198.075 on Feb. 15 and a 198.200 on March 9 at Michigan. The Sooners now have 22 marks of 198 or better since the 2016 season and 29 overall. Of those 29, only 10 have been earned at home with the other 19 all coming at road or neutral sites. Six of those scores came in regional or national competition. No other school has more than 19 in its program history. In 2018, OU set the NCAA record with 10 scores of 198 or better in a single season. INDIVIDUAL SCORES Below is a breakdown of the Sooners individual scores on each event this season, including totals of at least 9.85, 9.9 and 9.95. VAULT At least 9.85 (54) 9.9 (27) 9.95 (9) BARS At least 9.85 (56) 9.9 (37) 9.95 (11) BEAM At least 9.85 (49) 9.9 (28) 9.95 (10) FLOOR At least 9.85 (48) 9.9 (32) 9.95 (13) NATIONAL RANKINGS Eight Sooners hold 18 individual top-25 rankings, which are also determined by NQS. Senior Brenna Dowell and sophomore Anastasia Webb are both ranked in the top 10 in the all-around with Dowell coming in at No. 8 (39.565) and Webb at No. 10 (39.545). Dowell also ranks 5 th on floor (9.940), 8 th on vault (9.910) and 10 th on bars (9.920). Webb comes in at No. 9 on beam (9.915) and No. 16 on vault (9.890). Senior Nicole Lehrmann is ranked on three events, ranking 6 th on bars (9.935), 13 th on vault (9.895) and 14 th on beam (9.890). Juniors Jade Degouveia and Maggie Nichols and freshman Oliva Trautman are each ranked on a pair of events. Degouveia is ranked seventh on vault with an NQS of 9.915 and 12 th on floor (9.925). Nichols is No. 1 on beam with an NQS of 9.970 and second on bars with a 9.950. Trautman is No. 3 on floor (9.955) and No. 8 on vault (9.910). Sophomore Karrie Thomas ranks 22 nd on bars (9.895) and sophomore Carly Woodard comes in at No. 18 on beam (9.885). THE FLYING LEHRMANN Senior Nicole Lehrmann has been outstanding on bars throughout her career as a Sooner. She has tallied a 9.9 or better on the apparatus in 78 percent of her routines (45 of 57). In 2018, she strung together her best year yet, notching a 9.9 or higher in 14 consecutive meets. Lehrmann has scored at least a 9.9 on bars in 23 of her last 25 meets, including her second career perfect 10 on Feb. 1. OUTSTANDING OLIVIA Freshman Olivia Trautman has shined in her first year as a Sooner, earning a perfect 10 on floor in her debut season. Trautman has recorded at least a 9.925 on floor in all nine meets and won the event in seven of nine. The freshman has also taken over the leadoff spot on beam, earning a career-high 9.925 on Feb. 1 against No. 2 Florida. Trautman competed in the all-around for the first time in her career against Florida, earning a 39.725. The Champlin, Minn., native set or tied a career high on all four events en route to her all-around score. DYNAMIC DOWELL In week two of the season, the world saw the collegiate debut of the Dowell - a front double pike named after senior Brenna Dowell in the Code of Points after she successfully executed it at Worlds in 2016. Dowell had yet to compete the skill named after her in collegiate competition but broke it out in her first pass on floor on Jan. 11. Competing in the all-around for the first time in her OU career, Dowell set her career-high in the allaround, earning a 39.725 on March 9 at Michigan. MAGGIE PERFECT 10 NICHOLS It only took half a meet for Maggie Nichols to record her first perfect score of the season. With 15 to her name heading into her junior year, Nichols added her 16 th with a flawless Yurchenko 1.5 on vault at Arkansas on Jan. 5. THE REMATCH On March 3, the most anticipated meet of the season came down to the wire as the No. 1 Sooners took down the No. 2 UCLA Bruins, 197.775-197.575, in front of a record-crowd of 10,177 at Lloyd Noble Center. Just like the 2018 regular season meet, the two teams went into the final rotation tied after UCLA tallied a perfect score on each of the first three events. TOP TWO SHOWDOWN PART ONE Behind a record crowd of 5,082, the No. 1 Oklahoma women s gymnastics team won an epic showdown with then-no. 2 Florida, 198.325-198.025, on Feb. 1. The Sooners now boast two scores of 198 or better this season as they posted the fifth-best score in program history. Freshman Olivia Trautman had a career night as she set or tied her career high on every event. Making her debut on bars, Trautman took home the all-around title with a 39.725, the second highest score in the nation this season. Sophomore Anastasia Webb was once again stellar, setting her career high in the all-around with a 39.650. Webb posted a season high on three events, scoring a 9.925 on vault, a 9.90 on bars and a 9.950 on floor. On bars, Nicole Lehrmann earned the only perfect score of the night, notching her second career perfect 10.
