Programs Programs Description Long-Term Success Friends of the Library of Collier County, Inc. support the enrichment of programs of the Collier County Library with our Classic Film Series, West Wing Gallery, Speakers' Bureau, Adult Programs, Young Adult Programs, Children Programs, and purchase of books, computers and equipment not provided by the county. Impact Goals What are your organization's long-term strategic goals? Our goal is to support the Collier County Public Library system of 10 libraries throughout Collier County. Strategies What are the major strategies you will do to accomplish your goals? Friends of the Library supports the literary and educational needs of the community. We offer this support by funding programs in the library and offering programs in the library that are of a literary or educational nature. Capabilities What are your organization s capabilities for doing this? We have an established program of presenting New York Times best selling authors to the community. Indicators What indicators do you use to measure progress? Our organization will continue to enjoy its progress, as its increasing membership and sponsorship continues to enhance its ability to support all ten branches of the Collier County public library system. Progress What have and haven t you accomplished so far? We have a well established Nick Linn Lecture Series that is known for New York Times best selling authors coming to our community. We have enthusiastic participation and sponsorship of this event. We are looking to build on this success in new areas. 4
