REGISTRATION OF DELEGATES National Parliaments invited to take part in the 73 rd Session of the Executive Committee and the 41 st Conference of the African Parliamentary Union due to be held in Abuja (Nigeria), from 2 nd to 6 th October 2018, are kindly requested to make known the composition of their delegations as soon as possible on the form n 1 attached hereto. ENTRY VISAS When required, the visa will be delivered free of charge to delegates, in the diplomatic and consular representations of Nigeria. In exceptional cases, for the delegates from countries where there are no Nigerian diplomatic or consular missions, the visa will be delivered to them on arrival at Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. In such cases, delegates are kindly requested to communicate, by email, to the Nigerian National Assembly the number and nature of their passports as well as the flight number, the date and hour of arrival in Abuja. 3. CLIMATE Temperature in Abuja during the month of October will vary between 22 and 36 C. 4. TRANSPORTATION FOR DELEGATES The Nigerian National Assembly will ensure transport for delegates on arrival and on departure as well as between hotels and the venue of meetings. It is recommended that delegates choose from among the hotels proposed by the Nigerian National Assembly. 2

General information APU Sessions, Abuja Oct. 2018 5. AIR CONNECTIONS Delegates can travel to Nigeria via several African and European capitals. For detailed information, they are kindly requested to consult air companies or their travel agencies. 6. VENUE OF MEETINGS The APU Sessions will take place inabuja, at the National Assembly. 7. CURRENCY The national currency is the Naira. Following are the exchange rates of some convertible currencies on 30 July 2018: 8. HEALTH 1 $.US = 360, 52 Nairas 1 Euro = 420, 24 Nairas It is recommended that delegates have their international vaccination book still valid. During meetings, first aid facilities will be provided within the Conference venue. 9.
