COMMANDANTS REPORT It is the busy time of the year with veterans services, parades, Toys For Tots, Veterans Court, high school visitations, Marine of the Year activities, unfortunately funeral services, special services, holidays, hunting season and on and on. It has been a trying year, but I believe we have made great strides forward. Unfortunately we have lost good members this year, several others are in special care homes or homebound and last but not least all of us are one year older (our numbers are dwindling). Our last meeting of the year is scheduled for November 22, 2016 at 1930 hours. We will elect officers at this meeting as we do not meet in December. Officers will be sworn in at the January meeting. In the event you cannot make the meeting this month, have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.
