The free will collection netted $162.01 for our computer/technology upgrades. Tigers Tickets: We were able to get our requested date of May 4 date for Education Outdoors and the Tigers game. If you preordered a ticket, please pay for it at the ECC. The cost is $20 per ticket and includes the bus ride to and from Comerica Park. Tickets will be distributed on May 4 when we arrive at the stadium. Tickets not paid for by Easter will be available to those on a waiting list. Bagel & Juice Fundraiser: The 7 th & 8 th grade class is selling bagels and freshly squeezed orange juice again. The order form deadline is Wednesday, March 22. Please scroll down for the order form. Mel Ott Baseball: It is not too late to submit your baseball registration forms. The Mel Ott Lutheran Baseball League is for students in Kindergarten through 8 th grade. Forms are available in the office. Practices begin in April and games in early May.

Afterschool Enrichment Solutions: The video game design class Let s Code It begins tomorrow, March 17, from 3:30 4:30 p.m. in either the Computer Lab or Room 105. Let s Build It, Wacky Waves begins Mon., March 20, also from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Room 105. Parents must sign up in advance and pay online at www.learningmeansfun.com/signup. Use class code MIM3.17.17 (Let s Code It) or MIM3.20.17 (Let s Build It). Parents should wait in the church parking lot for the release of students at the end of class. Mother/Son Bowling: The PTL is hosting its annual mother/son bowling event on Saturday, March 25 at Harbor Lanes in St. Clair Shores. Check in begins at 12:45 p.m. with bowling starting promptly at 1:00 p.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m. The cost is $10 per person and includes 2 games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza, and pop. Please turn in the attached registration form and payment to your child s teacher no later than Thursday, March 23. We hope to see you there! Track Practices start on Monday March 27 at 3:30 p.m. Students interested in track should meet in the gym after changing into their P.E. uniform. Most practices will be held outside so if the weather is cool students will be allowed to wear sweatpants and sweatshirts over P.E. clothes. Practice is Monday-Thursday, 3:30-4:45 p.m. throughout the season. Mr. Leidecker and Mr. Frattini will be the coaches this year. Adult Co-ed Volleyball resumes in the gym on Friday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. through Mar. 31. Please join us! Free Craft/Bible Journaling Day: Do you Bible Journal? Would you like to learn more? Come enjoy fellowship and craft time with us on March 25 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the ECC. Supplies will be available, but feel free to bring your own as well! Or bring something crafty you ve been meaning to work on but you just haven t found the time! A 365-day devotion/coloring book will be given away! No need to sign up just come that day and bring a friend! New Principal at LHNW: Lutheran High Northwest welcomes Mr. Matthew Tschudy as the school s 7th Principal! We are very pleased to announce that Matthew Tschudy from Metro-East Lutheran High School in Edwardsville, Illinois has accepted the Call to serve as the next Principal. Mr. Tschudy received his BA in Secondary Education (majoring in Social Sciences) as well as his MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-Wisconsin. He has served at Metro-East since 2006. Matt and his wife Joy have three children: David (6), Caleb (4) and Joseph (2). Car Show & Sock Hop: May 13, 2017, 3:00-7:00 p.m. at St. Peter s. Alice in Wonderland Jr.: Lutheran High North would like to invite you to their theatrical production of Disney s Alice in Wonderland Jr. There will be 2 performances in the LHN auxiliary gym: Friday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults (18 & over) and $5 for seniors and children. Mustang Mix it Up: Lutheran High North is inviting all 5 th and 6 th graders to LHN on Friday, April 28 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. for volleyball, dodgeball, fun, food and prizes. Look for the flyer outside the 5 th & 6 th grade classroom. Kroger Rewards: We recently received a check from the Kroger Community Rewards program in the amount of $176.35. This reward was earned by school and church families who linked their Kroger Plus Cards to St. Peter s. At this time we d like to remind participants to re-enroll to continue these earnings. Kindergarten Round Up takes place on Thursday, March 30 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Kindergarten classroom. This is for parents and their kindergartener-to-be.
