We Connect E-Newsletter Message from CEO This past year at We Connect was very successful and I am proud of our company s accomplishments and customer service satisfaction. I wanted to take a moment here to reflect upon this year and highlight some of our achievements. Our excellence in customer service has once again earned us recognition from the Utica Better Business Bureau. A recent independent survey by The Costumer s Group found that our costumer s are 100% satisfied with our quality service and professionalism. This past spring we were featured in a New York Times article as being an invaluable resource for company marketing, which also got us mentions on CNN and Fox News business reports. Not bad for a small company in Central New York! Contents CEO Message 1-2 Our Services 2 Financials 3-4 Our Philosophy 3 Income Statement 4 Future Goals 5 Meet the Staff 6 Over the past year our client base has continued to grow, but most importantly, we have not lost any of our clients. In the United States we have seen the most growth in the states of Texas, Alabama, and Washington, while the majority of our client base remains located in New York. Giving all of our clients, near and far, equal attention and costumer satisfaction was a main priority for us this year. Our senior management team carefully reviewed our client locations and decided to expand in a unique way. Instead of hiring employees to work from our New Hartford, NY location, we hired three individuals who are located in Texas, Alabama, and Washington. These employees work from their home s and handle a majority of our accounts and client relations for their respective regions. So far we have a positive response to this expansion and will look to hire more long distance employees nationally and internationally in this capacity within the next few years. Continued on Page 2 1

Message from CEO Continued from Page 1 This innovative way of expanding our company is the most efficient way to give our customers the quality of service they expect. Our Services Our experienced staff will deliver a successful social media marketing strategy by assessing your needs and discussing the opportunities and actions to do so. We realize that planning and implementing a skillfully managed social media campaign can be an intimidating undertaking. Our services include building and maintaining your social media and networking resources such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. From the start, one of our team managers will be assigned to your company and address your particular goals and how we can best achieve those for you. From posting status updates, tweeting, responding to comments and messages, updating company information, blogs, videos, and photographs. We help connect you to your audience, market yourself on a larger scale, interact with potential clients, and drive traffic to your website. Our competitive analysis will outline what services your competition is utilizing and appear to be their most beneficial assets to help keep you on top of your market. This past winter I had the pleasure of traveling to Sweden to meet with a prospective client. Text messaging is the best way for this particular company to communicate with their clients. They asked if We Connect could take over this aspect of client communication for them, an avenue our company has not previously gone down. After our team did some research we were able to develop an effective system to meet this client s specific need. Our company will not shy away from a challenge and I am grateful to our team for the hard work they poured into this undertaking. This proved to be a very beneficial client for our company, as We Connect can now handle all of your company s text messaging needs. It s just another way that we can get you connected to your customers. As social media changes on a regular basis, our staff takes the time to learn and research all the latest sites and tools. We remain true to our commitment of getting to know your company and creating a service package that is as unique for your needs. As we head into this new year, we will continue strive for excellence in customer service and seek the newest and most efficient ways to keep you connected. Sincerely, Katxxe Higgins Chief Executive Officer 2

Financials Since We Connect launched in 2007, the company has experienced a boom in profitability. After starting out as a small business venture with the investments of three individuals working in a basement location, the company has grown in employees and revenue substantially. Our sales have been increasing especially with the rise in social media usage by the baby boomer generation. After earning $15,000 in our first year of business, in 2008 we followed up with 44.4% increase in net income. The success continued from 2009 to 2010 with a 42.8% jump. Our first two quarters of 2011 have shown wonderful promise for our best year yet. Based on this current income and industry trends, we expect to end the year at $50,000 in net income, a 222% rise from our beginnings 5 years ago. Continued on Page 4 Our Philosophy We Connect will help your company take advantage of one of the internet s largest marketing platforms. Social media has completely altered the way companies selfpromote and market themselves to the public. These resources have a great impact and reach consumers all over the world. Conducting business with integrity and treating our clients and employees with the utmost respect is a primary focus. We pride ourselves on responsible and ethical business practices that offer a creative and innovative touch. We Connect strives on the idea that technology is a minute-tominute, constantly changing resource. We will keep improving our services and practices for the betterment of our company, and yours. 3

Financials Continued from Page 3 For the first half of 2011, We Connect has improved a sizeable amount in our net income in comparison to the past few years. We are bringing in new clients daily and the numbers don t lie. Our combined net income for the first half of 2010 was $19,875. 2011 has already produced $33,919. Our first quarter normally generates our highest profits, but due to our team s hard work, the second quarter has already surpassed our goals and made for the best period yet. The income statement for We Connect s first half of the current year is provided to the right. Please review our impressive financial highlights. Thank you, xxxx Chief of Operations 4

Looking Forward Into The Future Here at We Connect, we are always looking towards the future. The social media world is ever changing and a growing area. In this letter, we would like to share with you our clients, some aspects of what we would like to do in the future. The first new change for our company is that we recently bought and settled into our new home on Seneca Turnpike in New Hartford, NY! It is a bigger space to allow us to add more staff, giving you the clients that much more time to talk with one of our professionals individually about how exactly you want your social media campaign to progress. We are now looking into the use of the blogging website, Tumblr. Although it is not a new site, it is slowly growing in popularity for everyone including businesses like Entertainment Weekly. We have created our own Tumblr for We Connect, to learn first hand what exactly this site can offer you. On our Tumblr, we showcase one of our many clients every other day to get the message out about both of our businesses. Another area we are excited to be expanding on is working with more clients that are international. As Kate Higgins said in her CEO letter, we recently acquired clients in Sweden. That is the great part of our business; our location no longer limits who we can help. Although we do take business trips to see the business and the country s culture first hand, we can still communicate and assist these companies from across the globe. Contact us We Connect 21 Seneca Turnpike Suite 15 Utica, NY 13413 (P) (315) 212-5555 (F) (315) 212-5566 info@weconnect.com Let us get you connected today! We are excited about all our new changes happening with We Connect and your business, and we cannot wait to share this continuing adventure with all of you! Sincerely, xxxxx Chief of Marketing 5
