Volunteers play a very important role at the shelter and are needed to fill a variety of roles, seven days/week: Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Minors 16-17 may also volunteer at the shelter, but he or she MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Pregnant women may not volunteer at the shelter. Foster Care Volunteers must complete a mandatory foster care training. Volunteer shifts are flexible and available seven days/week: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly.
