MINNEHAHA ACADEMY ALUMNI AWARDS In 1986 the Resource Development Committee of the Minnehaha Academy Board of Education recommended the conferral of honorary alumni awards on graduates demonstrating outstanding achievement. This annual award is given to recognize alumni who exemplify Christian faith, leadership and service which positively impacts local, national and/or global communities, demonstrates outstanding achievement in a chosen field of endeavor, and has made a significant contribution of time, talent or treasure to Minnehaha Academy. In the Fall of 2000, a Service was introduced and in the Fall of 2007 a Young Service was introduced. In 2011, the and the Service were combined into a single award.
