T ensure that all services t Blind Veterans meet key perfrmance and quality practice standards thrugh the prvisin f key peratinal plicies and a perfrmance management framewrk, which enables the Directrate t mnitr and manage utcme and utput as well as minimise risk. 2. T lead in the review, implementatin and peratin f the charity s grants prgramme t its members, ensuing that the prcess f assessment by casewrkers, referral t the grants cmmittee and subsequent prcedures fr payment and review are based n clear principles and guidelines in line with plicy and effective practice. 3. T lead in the develpment and implementatin f a framewrk fr perfrmance management that enables perfrmance indicatrs t be measured and mnitred and t ensure that apprpriate management actin is taken t secure the effective delivery f services that priritise the quality f care. 4. T versee and maintain a directrate quality management system and ensure that internal audit, cmpliance and perfrmance infrmatin is presented t the Service Develpment Cmmittee t infrm strategic management decisins. This system will include but nt be restricted t: The Operatins Directrate risk register Grant funded regulated prviders t ur members An utcmes based case management system Infrmatin management Directrate cmplaints lg A rbust reprting and mnitring system fr safeguarding and incident reprting. 1

T lead in the management and versight f Directrate cmplaints ensuring that managers are supprted in the investigatin prcess, members and prfessinals are supprted and cmmunicated with apprpriately and that lessns learnt are fed back int the directrate. 6. T versee the effective prcessing and practice f accidents, incidents and safeguarding cmplaints n behalf f the Directrate, directing and supprting peratinal managers in their handling f such matters and ensuring that at all times risk is managed apprpriately. 7. T ensure the effective implementatin and nging imprvement f the grants prcess fr members ensuring that the new plicy recmmendatins are implemented effectively and that the grants cmmittee is able t perate effectively t members. 8. T be accuntable fr cntinual prfessinal develpment f staff frm different prfessinal disciplines, chairing relevant prfessinal subgrups t ensure self-reflective high standards f practice and perfrmance, using apprpriate tls and frums. 9. T be respnsible fr ensuring the highest pssible standards f service are audited and reprted including the implementatin f quality standards, clinical supervisin and audit, and casewrk management prcedures fr scial care and rehabilitatin staff. 10. T be respnsible fr a budget ensuring accurate setting, refrecasting and expenditure (i.e. grants and invices) are managed effectively within it. Additinal respnsibilities 1.
