Volleyball Families: Line Judges for 7th and 8th Grade home volleyball matches have been added to the Sign Up Genius. Anyone 8th grade and older can assist. (High School aged volunteers can get service hours for this also.) Feed your Family, Help your Parish & Get Savings ontuition! Every week we need to buy groceries. But did you know you can support your parish at the same time, by using a SCRIP grocery store gift card? The SCRIP store is open after 4:30 PM Mass on the third Saturday of each month. And the adjacent Sunday after 8 AM Mass until 10:15 AM. You can buy gift cards for Meijer, Pick N Save, Piggly Wiggly, Sendiks, and Walmart. According to the US Department of Agriculture, an average American family of four spends around $182.80 each week at the grocery store.

If you buy your groceries using a SCRIP grocery store card, you spend the same amount. But the parish benefits by rebates from $4.56 to $9.12, depending on where you shop. Think about it another way... If 100 families use gift cards purchased from the SCRIP store for their weekly grocery shopping, Saint Frances Cabrini parish benefits by rebates from $23,712 to $47,424. Each year. If you want to know more, get in touch with the SCRIP Coordinators at scrip@stfcabrini.com PS: Need a gift idea? You can get SCRIP gift cards for restaurants, gas stations, retailers, fast food and more. Join us & Register Now for the Bags Tournament 2018! School Liturgy Choir The School Liturgy Choir is an opportunity for students who would like to have more music making experiences in school. The choir will be comprised of students from grades 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. I would like to split the group so the students still have a chance to sit with their little buddies at some of the school masses while the other group sings. I will only do this if I have enough students interested in singing. We will rehearse during the end of the day during resource time on Tuesdays beginning Tuesday, September 11. However, we will not meet every week. Students who have missing assignments will not be allowed to attend that day s choir rehearsal. They will have to report to the teacher they need to make up work with. Students in grade 4 that are interested can still do so it would mean however that he/she would miss class once (occasionally twice) in a month. The main function of the choir will be to lead the student body during all school masses. They will be part of the combined choir that sings for Catholic Schools Week. If your child(ren) is/are interested in being a part of the choir, a registration form will be coming home in Thursday Folders on August 30th or stop by the School Office. Please return forms by Friday, September 7th. Thank you,
