Dear Friends, Holiday greetings from the Southside Friends of the Chicago Sinfonietta. We invite you to join us for our fourteenth Magical Holiday Breakfast Opera: Trickery, Tragedy and Triumph! celebrating all that Opera has to offer. During this musical journey, we hope that you will relax and enjoy the wondrous sounds and themes of opera. We thank you for your long-standing commitment to making the Magical Holiday Breakfast the resounding success that it is. The proceeds generated from this event through the years have totaled thousands of dollars which have benefited the Chicago Sinfonietta s youth and community programs. The orchestra has achieved great heights and its future is very promising. The Southside Friends and our Master of Ceremonies, Steve Baskerville, look forward to presenting a memorable program on December 14th that is in keeping with Maestro Paul Freeman s musical legacy under the baton of the incredibly talented Mei-Ann Chen. Happy Holidays, Sharon D. Hatchett, Chair 2013 Magical Holiday Breakfast
