Call for applications In accordance with procedure for Long Service Leave quotas for permanent firefighters during peak holiday periods, long service leave applications for periods that fall in peak holiday periods in 2019/2020 are now called for from Inspectors, Station Officers and Firefighters. 2. Dates of peak periods The following dates for the year 2019/2020 are classified as peak periods: 15 April 2019 to 26 April 2019 Autumn School Holidays Term 1 08 July 2019 to 19 July 2019 Winter School Holidays Term 2 08 August 2019 to 18 August 2019 World Police & Firefighters Games 30 September 2019 to 11 October 2019 Spring School Holidays Term 3 23 December 2019 to 27 January 2020 Christmas/New Year and Summer School Holidays Term 4 3.
