Lunch will be provided by the Christian Education Committee. Please RSVP to Smitty (667-1288) by January 6 th so that we can be sure we have enough food for the event. Presbyterian Youth Triennium 2013 This year for the first time ever our church will be sending a delegation solely from our youth group to the Presbyterian Youth Triennium at Purdue University July 16-20, 2013! All rising ninth graders through 2013 high school graduates are welcome and invited to attend. Cost is yet to be determined but you can expect some fundraising to offset the cost of this once in a youth ministry lifetime opportunity. Triennium only occurs once every three years and there are only a lucky few that would have this opportunity twice during their time as a Youth. Smitty is the Registrar for our church. Please let him know by January 6 th if you would like to go. There will be much more on this exciting event in future newsletters. In the meantime check your calendars and get your name on the list of delegates from North Wilkesboro Presbyterian Church to have the experience of a lifetime! Sunday School Class of the Month The Seekers Class Teachers: Ellen Lipscomb, Penny Musson, Jennifer Smithey (Sub) The Seekers Class is a new Sunday School class for adults. The Seekers Class is a discussion based class that meets at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning in the church Library. Currently this class is discussing the topics in the DVD Study Series entitled Embracing an Adult Christian Faith by Marcus Borg. Currently the class is studying the topic of Community and living out our faith in the different Communities we find ourselves in each day. So, consider yourself invited and join the smiling faces that will for sure meet you in the church Library each Sunday morning as we strive to continue to meet together and explore our faith in God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
