November, 2013 This is my first article since becoming the President of your Lake Tanglewood Board. I plan to use this space to inform you on important matters affecting the lake. The following Board Members are chairing certain aspects of the Tanglewood responsibilities, please contact them if you have questions or suggestions. Thanks to all residents for their patience during the recent road repairs, it was an inconvenience, but necessary to keep the community traffic flowing. The following are items for you to consider: New look for your monthly statements. Brought about by a new accounting system. Lake Tanglewood Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 24th. Wanting to get involved? Two Board positions will be up for election in January, please consider running for one of these positions. See Sherry Stover in the office for details. THE BOARD IS WORKING ON THE FOLLOWING: NEW SWIM DOCK (EXISTING DOCK BEYOND REPAIR) DECORATIVE FENCE ON TANGLEWOOD ROAD FROM THE CURVE TO THE GUARD SHACK ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD. EVALUATING GATE PROCEDURES: (WHAT S WORKING, WHAT S NOT, ARE CHANGES NECESSARY?) EVALUATING RESTAURANT: PRCEDURES, PERSONNEL, MENU, ETC. BY-LAWS OF LAKE TANGLEWOOD: CHANGES WILL BE ONLY THOSE NEEDED TO MEET NEW LEGAL REQUIREMENTS, YOUR VOTE WILL BE NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT. A NOTICE WILL BE SENT TO EACH MEMBER EXPLAINING CHANGES ALONG WITH A BALLOT FOR YOU TO CAST. THE BOARD RECOMMENDS A POSITIVE VOTE FOR THESE CHANGES.
